We went to Parramatta Westfields today just to get the kids out and about. Andrew got to play with two puppies that were let out of the “fish tank”-like homes in a pet shop. He was scared but wasn’t too bad in chasing them and being chased by them.

While minding Hannah alone we saw a children’s ride. It had 3 cars that would go round and round for a few minutes. They place these rides at various locations that are in direct line of sight from children. Often around these rides there are screaming children and heated parents not knowing what to do.

So here is my solution to get a win-win situation. Hannah wins by going on the ride. I win because I don’t have to pay $2 (call me cheap, I don’t mind, I refuse to pay to promote these rides) and I get to rest for a few minutes. If the children don’t know what the ride is meant to do, they will never know the difference. Here is the proof. Look how happy she is.

Note: Even though she is having a good time, notice that she is calling out for Andrew. It is almost like Hannah is saying “Andrew, have a look at this bro, look at me, look at mee”.
