Has it been a year already?
Where did the time go? In a blink of an eye, our beautiful baby girl has gone from sleeping in my arms to demanding independence! She is now smiling, mimicking us, crawling, standing on her own and cruising a whole lot. She’s on her way to her first steps.

Hannah’s first birthday party was held on the Queen’s Birthday holiday (she’s more important than the Queen anyway, don’t you think?? ). The weather was a bit overcast as it had been raining the week before, so everyone stayed inside for the celebrations. Andrew had the best time
If we didn’t send the invitations out saying whose party it was, our guests could have easily mistaken it for Andrew’s, lol. He enjoyed being the centre of attention.
Hannah wore a hanbok (traditional Korean costume) for the ceremonial part of the party. She had to pick an object placed in front of her (to tell her fortune) as part of the Korean ceremony for the first birthday. She picked money, then her grandmother got her to pick again to confirm if wealth was to be her future, and Hannah picked rice, apparently Johnny also picked rice at his first birthday. Will Hannah turn out just like her father?? Only time will tell

The party was filled with lots of catching up amongst friends, photos and food.
Hannah’s Piglet cake was too cute for Rachel (a 2 1/2 year-old) to resist, she decided to pull one of its ears out
We later gave it to her as a souvenir
Here is a picture of the Piglet cake with both ears “intact”

Great work Tracy! Congratulations on all the hard work as a mum to Hannah.
